Zu ihrem Werk:

During the time of National Socialism in Germany, in line with „Aktion T4“ [T4 Program], many patients were murdered by the Nazi Party. Using this former mail delivery van, men, women, and even children, deemed mentally ill, were driven to the gas chambers. It was my wish and my intention to look at and deal with the site and the history of it and to paint a mural as a memorial.

Artbase, ehemaliges Krankenhaus, Raum 13B

The mural I was able to paint for Artbase Festival in a former hospital room of the Domjüch Psychiatric Hospital and Nursing Home is based on an actual event: During the time of National Socialism in Germany, in line with „Aktion T4“ [T4 Program], many patients were murdered by the Nazi Party. Using this former mail delivery van, men, women, and even children, deemed mentally ill, were driven to the gas chambers. It was my wish and my intention to look at and deal with the site and the history of it and to paint a mural as a memorial.
